Fire destroys farmer's home near Springbrook
The home of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Kingston three miles east of Springbrook was totally destroyed by fire last Friday. Only an organ folding bed and cream separator survived. The kitchen fire spread to the house as southeast winds drove the flames. a prairie fire started by embers burned about a mile north. The Kingstons and their five children face a heavy loss.
