Livery Barn Burns in City Fire Early Monday
A center city livery barn near Bruegger yard was destroyed by fire about five AM Monday, with several nearby structures scorched. Horses escaped before the blaze gained headway, but electric lines and a 75-line telephone cable were damaged, cutting city lights and service until repairs. The barn, owned by Mr. Nudd, had no insurance.

Williston Choral Union Plans May 17 Concert
The Williston Choral Union will present Maunder's Song of Thanksgiving at Library Auditorium on Saturday evening May 17. Mrs Ancil Perkins died at her home in this city on Saturday May 3 after a long illness. Born December 25 1844 in Bedford Ohio she married Ancil Perkins January 1 1866.
