Vault Construction Begins at County Court House
Contractor Harding has started work on a new vault for the county at the courthouse. The vault will be built in the rear of the building connecting with the auditor and clerk of court offices. Excavation is done and the concrete foundation is underway. The old vault will be removed when the new one is finished.

Friday April 25 marked the Williston schools annual exhibit displaying months of student work across departments in the central and Webster buildings. Teachers reported strong training from primary to high grades though public interest lagged. States Attorney's bootleg sale ends with arrest
A.l. Burdick the States Attorney, while at a livery barn, bought a pint of liquor from a stranger who also sold to others gathered nearby. The bootlegger was arrested, held in the county jail without bond as evidence mounted. He arrived from St Paul just hours earlier and admitted poor judgment in choosing customers.

High School Strike Delayed as Students Face Suspension
Last Friday about twenty seven juniors and seniors took a half day vacation after a student council action. The faculty gave three extra days for reconsideration and the incident affected students at the Annual Exhibit Day. Weeps were reported among participating girls. In another report from Ryder North Dakota, May 1, Rosenberg and Schinek suffered heavy prairie fire losses on Berthold reservation as homesteads burned and hay flax seed grain destroyed.

Mouse River Association Holds Eleventh Annual Meeting
