Court convened in this city for first jury term
Judge Fisk opened his first jury term Tuesday morning. Tony Winkle pleaded guilty to forging and cashing a check at Rawitscher's store. The State vs Conrad Hougom of Ray was called. after a new information the defendant pleaded guilty. The nine initial guilty pleas mark a growing trend ahead of John Bader's trial and scheduled sentences for Wilkie and Hougom on Saturday.

Special trains for home seekers head west this spring
The first special train load of home seekers passed through the city Monday morning on second number one. There were 250 men aboard looking for new homes at Harve. Great Northern officials say inquiries for western lands are the heaviest this spring they ever had and expect many more this year than last.

Service On Bainville Branch Promises New Rail Link
The Great Northern railroad now operates an accommodation train on the Bainville branch to Plentywood Montana with one coach connecting with the Skidoo. It runs Bainville to Plentywood arriving at 12 45 and returns via Bainville at 4 45. If traffic grows a through coach Williston to Plentywood may be added and a business mission urged. Local business leaders urged travel along the line to cultivate customers. The Williston band may accompany the business men on the trip.
