City Council Hires Auditors and Fixes Mayor Salary
The city council met Monday evening with full attendance. Two Marwick Mitchell accountants from Minneapolis were hired to audit city departments. Old Timer Frank Conlin Dies After Long Dakota Life
Frank Conlin, a longtime North Dakota settler, died Tuesday morning in this city at about eighty. He moved from Devils Lake in the early days, lived in Bottineau from 1883 to 1887, spent a winter in Canada, and settled at Willow City. He once owned a band of horses near Bainville, later sold them, and had contested the sale with Davidson sod Hagen. He had not been well for about six weeks prior to his death.
