Governor Burke Calls Public Service Committee Meeting

Bismarck March 2 Governor Burke has called the first meeting of the public service committee at his office March 10. The panel includes Gov Burke Lieut Gov Lewis and Speaker Twitchell to study cash values of public service property within and outside the state and assess railroad and utility line mileage capitalization and earnings over five years.

Frank Brother Arrested in Minot Over Bankruptcy Matter

Barney Frank, a Frank Bros. store operator in Minot and elsewhere, was arrested by U S Marshal G J Stout. He faces charges of concealing notes and currency and a horse team worth 1500 from bankruptcy trustee Dudley L Nash. He had a hearing and was bound over to federal court.
