Fargo North Dakota March 7 The newly organized County Commissioners association of North Dakota adjourned with Bismarck chosen as next meeting place February 2 1909 when the legislature will convene They favor a state tax commission or board to administer revenue laws and study taxation while urging enforcement of existing laws and direct supervision of assessments by the state body

School Board Meets on Fire Escape Plans
The school board met Tuesday evening to discuss school fire safety. They decided to build a steel fire escape to connect upper floors and provide an outside exit if the main stairway is blocked. Plans include installing an escape wing on the third floor after the second floor exit is completed.
