Basket Celebration and Two Local Weddings Highlight Fourth Events

On July 4 the Spanish American War Veterans stage a basket celebration at Sioux Crossing with all invited. Friday evening at Mr and Mrs William One West Broadway hosted the marriage of Dorothy Holt of Malta Montana to Fay Freeman performed by Rev Hitchcock with about forty guests and a 10:30 wedding supper. The couple left next morning for a farm near Poplar. Mrs Kvindleg and Mrs Gruetman host the ladies aid on Wednesday afternoon July 3. A Sunday School picnic is set for July 4 east of the Tuttle farm two and a half miles south of Ben Frank, with signs guiding attendees to a day of fellowship and a lunch basket.
