Tragic Shovel Accident Claims Two Workers
Last Friday afternoon a massive earth fall at Jonew cut toppled onto a steam shovel cancrank and two workers Don Herlih y engineer and Terrence Flannery craneman were killed or fatally injured. Coroner Ackerman reported the bodies sent to Williston and then home east. Both men were seasoned veterans and the accident was deemed preventable with proper embankment care.
