Gustavsons Buy Columbia Hotel in Rugby for 9500

Mr and Mrs J H Gustavson of Rugby become owners of the Columbia Hotel including the building and 70 feet of adjacent lots after a deal concluded Monday. They paid 9500 to acquire the property from the prior owner and plan to start serving meals again as a 2000 a day house under new management.

Robbers Break Into Emil Nelson Jewelry Store

Burglars entered the Emil Nelson jewelry shop and stole jewelry valued at about 400 dollars. Police have no clue to the culprits. The incident prompted a robbery alert in the area.

Burglary Hits Jewelry Store for Four Hundred Dollars

Sometime Sunday night burglars entered through a rear window and forced the door to reach the show case. They stole about 400 dollars worth of jewelry including 24 gold chains 35 gold rings two dozen watches and various emblem charms pins and other items. Police were notified and warnings sent to authorities to watch for the stolen pieces and suspects but no trace had been found.

North Dakota Receives 1.7 Million From Reclamation Fund

The secretary of the interior adjusts the reclamation fund allotments per General Land Office estimates for the next two years. North Dakota gets 1,700,000 for pumping projects and Yellowstone area work totaling 1,700,000.
