Fight Tree Lice Says Professor Young
Grand Forks June 29 R T Young of the university biology department reports box elders in the city infested with plant lice likely causing damage but not seriously. He advises spraying with a soap kerosene emulsion diluted in water and repeated spraying to reach undersides of leaves. Elm lice similarly require early spraying and may need tent fumigation for small trees, though costly and laborious.
