Broken Up Home Sparks Assault Indictment
Minot North Dakota January 23 Mrs Maud Shevlin colored is indicted for assault after an argument over a husband. Shevlin allegedly grabbed a butcher knife at the home of Mrs Clara Jarrett colored, Jarrett blocked the blow and cut her hand. Grand jury returned the case and Shevlin faces assault charges.

Civil Service Exam Notice for Minot North Dakota
The civil service commission announces an examination in Minot for February 16 1907 for the deputy collector and clerk of the Internal Revenue District of North Dakota. Charge Made Against Minot Man William Clarke
William Clarke is jailed in Minot North Dakota after being accused by Warren E Barber of obtaining $50 on phony securities. Investigators say Clarke admitted taking $40 from Barber at Stanley on August 20 claiming someone owed him $200.
