About thirty to forty miners at the Husebye mine east of the city walked out late last week over a proposed eighteen month work agreement. After several days of argument the miners reached an agreement with Mr. Husebye and returned to work.

Man Found Frozen to Death in Missouri River Ice
Roy Williams of McKenzie County was found frozen on the Missouri River last Friday 30 miles south of Alexander. Coroner P Hamre and Great Northern Section crew recovered the body about 2.5 miles west of the Davidson farm and delivered it to Hamre Undertaking parlors. Williams last seen December 30 while walking toward Williston in a blizzard, exhausted by cold. Relatives near Alexander were notified and the body sent there for burial.

Graphic shop struggles to publish as workers take possession this week. Sam Ellingson, a well known merchant of Epping North Dakota, died suddenly at his home Tuesday after a tooth infection led to blood poisoning. Funeral to be held Wednesday at 2 PM in Epping.
