County board actions open highway and set county offices
At 2 p.m. the board met with all members present. Assessments for 1901 were adjusted for E. Palmer to 1950, First National Bank to 12148, and Mrs. Fannie Cates to 50. A public highway was ordered open for the Williston to Freemap’s ranch road. Bounties on wolves and coyotes were approved. Officials and bids were established including county physician contracts, janitor, road supervisors, health board, wardens, and stock appraisals. The tax and fringe-item adjustments reflect county policy for 1902. the session adjourned to January 7. The next item notes a real estate franchise application and ongoing burials contract.
