Mr and Mrs W J Kelly hosted a small party to see the old year out and the new year in at their pleasant home on 2nd Avenue West. An illuminated clock dial marked midnight as 191 arrived, guests sang Auld Lang Syne around the piano, then enjoyed a supper. It was described as a delightful beginning for the year.

The annual meeting of Williston Farmers Creamery and Produce Co stockholders is set for Saturday afternoon January 13 at 1 PM in the Court House. A full operation report will be presented and plans for a cooperative future outlined, including supplying cows a new creamery and a potato warehouse. District Court Resumes Its Work
The district court reconvened on the third and today handles the civil case Wareheim vs Husebye and Ellithorpe. Ray Wright of Cottonwood Lake pleaded guilty and Carl Larson of Grenora was found guilty of liquor law violations, each given four months in jail and a $200 fine plus costs. Henry Schmidt pleaded guilty to simple assault, receiving 15 days in the county jail.
