Flatiron Building Destroyed At Minot
A Minot fire started by a gasoline explosion at the Calumet restaurant gutted the Flatiron building on Central Avenue at the viaduct end. The blaze, sparked when John Beckman lit a boiler line, displaced residents in frigid weather and caused about 100000 in damage. Several businesses and Daily News offices suffered.
