Alex McAskill from Spanish Point visited last Saturday. Miss Barbara Braem suffered a mild tonsillitis attack late last week. Mrs. John Suderland left for St. Paul last Saturday to visit relatives and may spend the winter there. Williston Special school District census shows 262 school aged children, up 49 from a year ago. Episcopal services in Congregational Church next Tuesday evening January 8 at 7 30 p m. Holy Communion at 10 o'clock Wednesday morning by Rev H J Sheridan. An invitation is extended to all to attend.

Ignatius Donnelly died at 12 30 Tuesday morning at age seventy. He was widely known in the northwest for long prominence in Minnesota politics and national affairs. As a writer he achieved fame comparable to his political profile.

Big Hole Project Ends Quietly Despite Delayed Arrival

On December 21 the Great Northern train No 4, eastbound, fretted to enter the Cascade tunnel and emerged eleven minutes later. The trip proved an easy run with no ceremonies. President Hills failed to arrive in time to participate. The tunnel stretches 15,813 feet and cost several millions.
