Washington reports two North Dakotans among casualties from Saturday and Sunday night battles. Private Peter Rubeck of Egeland was slightly wounded in an action that left three dead, five seriously hurt, and eight slightly hurt. Congressman Stout Delivers Vivid War Lecture at Armory

Minot Man Now Heads the Equity in North Dakota
Anthony Walton of Minot was elected president of the North Dakota Society of Equity succeeding M. P. Johnson. P. N. Casey of Lisbon and M. V. Boody of Fargo were re elected as vice president and secretary treasurer respectively, with Mrs. M. V. Boody named as assistant secretary treasurer. E. C. Kaufmann of Hillsboro was added to the board, replacing A. W. Ditmer of Velva, after Traill county delegates pressed for representation.

Resolutions pledging loyalty to federal authorities were adopted at a Bismarck meeting. The North Dakota Home Guard was organized with 21 cities represented and about 490 guardsmen in attendance. Soules Bound To District Court On Liquor Charge
Harry Soules was arrested at the Great Northern station by deputy Nolan on importing intoxicating liquors into dry territory. He waived examination, bound over to the district court under $500 bond, and remains jailed awaiting the next term.
