Sudden Death of Mrs H A Storrs in Pomona Cal

A message arrived for H A Storrs of the U S Reclamation Service announcing the death of his wife at her Pomona California home. Mrs Storrs leaves two daughters Catherine and Nellie. Storrs had been visiting family in Pomona and returned to Williston when notified of her condition.

Murphy Is Sentenced in Fargo Forgery Case

Major J. S. Murphy of Minot was convicted of third degree forgery and sentenced last week to eighteen months in the state penitentiary at Baneahseac h. He was delayed by smallpox. Attorneys asked for time to appeal to the supreme court, granted, citing alleged judge Pollock jury room visits without counsel.

Receiver Swords filed papers in a case against H J Haskamp former bank president of St Cloud Minnesota seeking recovery of a quarter section of land four miles south of Minot fraudulently taken from the bank's assets. The case suggests further developments in the defunct bank affairs and hopes to satisfy depositors and creditors.

Oleson and Anderson hardware dealers plus T A Stennehjem of Mayville acquire the Chase and Dwyer property housing a pool hall.
