GAVE BENEFIT SHOW FOR DESERTED WOMAN IN CITY

The West Henry Company performed a benefit show Saturday night for a woman with two twins in poor circumstances. The hall was crowded and she received about $27. The company also offered strong performances Friday and Saturday evenings.

A clever dancer from the West-Henry company arrived in the city, chose to stay, and accepted a temporary post with the Grand for this week. He plans to start a dancing class in the near future.

Duou Bijou to Feature Young Manning and Dunham Vaudeville

Ted Young and Grace Manning, artists on banjo and string instruments, will perform at the Bijou all next week. The Williston Concert Band performed at Gates opera house last night to a full hall. Miss McNiven read aloud, Mrs Waldron played piano, and R H Evans sang as the soloist. The selections met the band’s high standard and were enjoyed by all attendees.
