Wahpeton North Dakota may lose its militia company after an inspecting officer’s report cited member interest and community support as failures. Unless improvement is shown at spring inspection, the company will be mustered out under the adjutant general’s biennial report.
Williston residents are invited to a comic tragedy titled A Bit O'Blarney by Fitzgerald Murphy. The event features local talent and aims to be a lively St Patrick themed performance with programs and character details to be released later.
Sheriff Olson has revamped the county jail calling it fitted up like a basement jail under the courthouse. Walls are whitewashed new doors installed heavy bars on windows and other changes made. Nine prisoners are present with one or two more expected.
