Williston Engineer Charles Miller Killed in St Paul Car Crash
Charles M. Miller, 52, an assistant engineer on the Great Northern Montana division and longtime Williston resident, was struck by a Selby car at Fourth and Exchange in St. Paul last Sunday after 5 pm and died en route to hospital. He was a Civil Engineer with prior work for Northern Pacific and the Great Northern, brother to Dr. Cline ton C. Miller and Nelson Miller, and survived by his mother Mrs. Luvin A. Miller and sister Miss Lucut M. Miller. He had recently returned home for holidays and had been in good health before the accident.

The State Normal School at Valley City held graduation exercises for Miss Gailie Ward of Bismarck. The program featured a thesis paper by Miss Wand on Literature in the Grades, a speech by Prof. A. P. Hollis, student musical selections, and a diploma presentation by Col. Amasa P. Peake.
