The post office department announces a revised money order design that includes the remitter's name and a margin of printed figures, making it hard to raise the amount. Old orders will be replaced as supplies arrive, and the change aims to curb fraud. The 1905 cattle season on the Great Northern was a record, with 308 cattle trains and over 9000 cattle handled, and plans for a new cattle handling system next year. Laundry drop at Anticeptic Barber Shop feeds Elliot Steam Laundry in Grand Forks. Baker ships Tuesdays and Saturdays.
The school will close Friday December 22 for a two week vacation and reopen January 8. Various departments will present programs Friday afternoon starting at 1 30 and 2 30 in the high school room. Miss Bradford will be with family in Helena Montana and Miss Bulleshy at Willow City. Mr and Mrs Ellithorpe plan holidays in Minata Valley City. At the Educational Association Grind Berks Day 27 28 29 Williston is represented by Supt Ellithorpe and Williams County by County Supt Brownsen. The high school students and teachers celebrate with the school concert profits used to improve rooms below sixth grade. John Harris was omitted from the list of highest eighth grade pupils seated in the high school room.
