New Rockford Women Knit Over 200 Soldier Sweaters
New Rockford and Eddy county women produced more than 200 sweaters for soldiers in three weeks. On Monday night, over fifty volunteers stayed up late in pairs and small groups to finish the last shipments. The sweaters were sent Tuesday to Camp Dodge Camp Merritt and other cantonments where Eddy county men are stationed.
