Williston ranks among the largest primary grain markets in the North West with nearly one million bushels marketed by Wednesday noon from the past summer’s crop. Estimates suggest two and a half to three million bushels will be marketed this year. Rail cars shipped total about 400, with elevators handling the influx despite some blockages. Forth Worth, Texas, Dec. 4. J Beal Sneed was found not guilty of the murder of Captain Al G Boyce Jr. Sneed shot Boyce Jan 18 in Fort Worth after returning from Winnipeg with his wife. Sneed claimed self defense and conspiracy by the Boyces to rob him of his wife. Boyce Sr. was killed by Sneed in Amarillo on Sept. 14. Sneed to be tried in Vernon in February.
