Never Too Many Sweaters for Soldiers in France

G E Scott in Washington says there cannot be too many Red Cross sweaters for soldiers. With winters in France being harsh, efforts to supply knit goods to camps and cantonments are urgent, aided by Navy orders restricting comfort gifts to Red Cross only. Harvey D Gibson pushes December 7 as Red Cross Theatrical Day with venues offering proceeds split between local and national chapters. A Marmon Red Cross class was organized with officers elected and knitting demonstrations planned, with supplies from Williston and a winter class expected.
