John Schikaney is having a two tory residence erected on the corner of Fifth street and First avenue west. Mr and Mrs John McDonald of Culbertson were in the city the first of the week to consult Dr Dochterman in regard to an injury to Mrs Mc Donalds hand. Mr and Mrs Joe Bohameren living near Bonetrails are the happy parents of a brand new baby girl born last week. The baby weighs nine pounds and has black hair and eyes and is a beauty. E J Swedlund of Swedland Bros Jewelers left Sunday for a vacation trip of two or three weeks through the west. He expects to visit Spokane Seattle Portland and many other points before his return. J W Smith is having a neat six room and bath residence built on the corner of Third avenue east and Seventh street. The house will be modern in every particular and will cost about four thousand dollars. The Book and Thimble club closed the contract last week with the company for the five numbers of the entertainment course mentioned in last weeks issue. The first number will not appear however until November. There has been several cases in police court this week one being a case of drunk and disorderly against Mr and Mrs J H Ham in which each received a fine totaling 15. Other cases were those against S H Loftun and Martin Olson for the same offense each receiving a fine of 85.
