School Notes On Building Work And Faculty Changes

A Pearson dairy herd of 22 cows was examined by Dr. Krieger, city cattle inspector, in Williston. All cows tested sound with no tuberculosis detected. Pearson led the inspection list, and the veterinary reports were satisfactory and in line with the law.

Elevator fire destroys 30000 bushels wheat in Minot
The Russell Miller Milling Co elevator in Minot North Dakota burned completely this morning destroying 30000 bushels of wheat and causing a 50000 dollar loss covered by insurance. The fire started at 2 50 a m from an unknown cause and was not put out until 9 am. Firemen protected the mill property and the mill will reopen September 15 after a temporary shutdown.
