Architects Frost Stacy Judd Minot, already designing other regional projects, expect steel balconies and modern conveniences throughout including electric elevators.

One horse slipped and fell on a crossing while others were caught. Citizens are prepping new exhibits for the Great Northern depot exhibit room, promising one of the state’s best displays. The Lawn Social from the Woman’s Civic League will be held on the John Bruevner lawn Friday evening August 14. Miss Anna Schwartz arrived from Wheelock Monday to visit friends before continuing to Poplar, Montana, to see her sister Mrs A C Hopke.

Germany seeks to shift blame for starting the war while mobilizations proceed. France is said to mobilize latest with precautions. Germany has invaded French territory without a formal declaration and violated Luxembourg neutrality and refuses to guarantee Belgian neutrality.
