Death of Mrs Henry Johnson in storm blast

Mrs Henry Johnson died Sunday after being injured in the recent storm. She and her husband lived in a temporary house when the building fell and she sustained head injuries and broken ribs leading to her death at age 69. Born in Denmark, she came to the United States after marriage, with Minnesota roots and North Dakota ties near Kenmare. She leaves a husband and three sons, P. A. Johnson of Donnybrook, James E. Johnson, and A. M. Johnson of Crosby.

Ladies Guild Met Plans Musical Recital

The Ladies Guild of the Episcopal church met Tuesday afternoon with Rev. M. Atterberry and fifteen members plus one visitor. Refreshments were served. They voted to invite Miss Blanch Lynch of Minot to give a musical recital in August, with more details to follow. The next meeting will be at Mrs. John Corbett's home.

Wife dead after quarrel with physician in Cape Girardeau

In Cape Girardeau Missouri Mrs A D Blomeyer was found dead at home after an alleged quarrel with her husband Dr Blomeyer who was later taken unconscious. Coroner inquest held but verdict not yet returned. In New York Judge Hough fined New York Herald Publishing Company James Gordon Bennett and Manley W Gillam a total of 21000 dollars for improper use of the mails.
