Miss Jessie Fritz will accompany them. their son Flechert will not relocate.

The Warren County War Mothers will purchase a large service flag and a tablet to honor county boys in the U S army and navy. A contribution box at the post office invites funds to cover the flag and tablet holding five hundred names. The tablet will display name and address of every Warren county serviceman and be placed in the courthouse corridor.

Honeymoon double nuptials in Sullivan draw local interest
Mr. and Mrs. Ross F Harbaugh and Mr. and Mrs. Roy Carrico of Sullivan Ind spent a short time Monday here on a honeymoon trip. The ceremonies were performed by the same minister within a half hour, making a double nuptial event. Carrico wed Miss Zoe Beasley at 8 15 and Harbaugh wed Miss Eleanor Douthitt at 8 30 Saturday evening. Both brides are popular Sullivan young ladies. Carrico is a county farmer. Harbaugh, formerly the County Emergency Demonstration Agent with Purdue, recently moved to Vermilion county. The couple’s friends wish them a happy married life.

Emory Poole Rekindles Notorious Family Crime Case
Emory Poole is jailed in Fowler on grand larceny charges after allegedly robbing Walter Anderson at his mother’s home, with $120 taken at gunpoint. Poole, married to Dora Troxell, later went to Chicago before enlisting, linked to a 1909 murder for which his father John Poole was convicted and is serving life in Michigan City.

Aged Lady Dies in Danville Home
Mrs. Jane Bowen aged 53 died at 6 o'clock Monday morning at the home of her son in law W A Baker in Danville Illinois due to old age. She was born September 22, 1837 in Ohio and lived most of her life in Fountain county Indiana including Attica for fifty years. She was the widow of William Bowen a well known horseman in Western Indiana and Eastern Illinois who died forty years ago. Funeral services were held from the Barker residence in Danville and the body was taken to Attica for burial.
