Moore falls short in State bid as Tomasello dominates
At the state tournament Moore, the fourth seed from Bowling Green District, faced top seed Nathan Tomasello of Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy. Tomasello, 51-0 with four state titles after a 20-4 tech fall in the final, overpowered Moore 7-6 in their opener. Moore battled back with a late pin in consolations but fell one win shy of a podium. Coach Cullin praised Moore’s heart and the team’s offseason mindset while stressing continued development and tougher schedules to reach state-caliber status.
