All-Stars Defend Top Spot In Buckeye Classic Slugfest
The North defeated the South 7-3 in a defensively charged McDonald’s Buckeye Superstore All-Star game at High School. Andrew Baird scored the lone touchdown for the North on a 1-yard run with 6:01 left in the second quarter, while Kale Huss and Kobi Johnson sealed the win with late interceptions. Both teams mustered under 154 total yards, with the North holding the South to 134 yards and forcing four turnovers in a game delayed by lightning earlier. 14 All-Stars received $1,000 education scholarships at halftime.
