Willard City Council reviews police changes and tower lighting

City Manager Brian Humphress reported Officer Justin Nowak will resign January 10 2013 to join the Seneca County Sheriff's Department. The levy failure in November prompted layoff concerns and no filling of the vacancy. The council authorized a tax for continued police personnel and eyed part time hires. Also discussed were LED lighting options for the Woodbine Street water tower and bids for a broadband leasing line from Willard to Fostoria to upgrade internet speeds without delaying lighting plans.
