At 123 to 127 North Main Street, 20 pieces of 38 inch all wool Flannel in grey and brown mixtures will be sold at 19 cents per yard. The ad emphasizes the fabrics are 38 inches wide, not 36 or 85 inches, and asserts the price is indeed nineteen cents.
China silks 47 pieces plain and figured offered at 49 cents a yard next Saturday. The line is advertised as the choicest and newest, comparable to high iced silks, with emphasis on durability and value.
This week’s sale features 21 pieces of French all wool Foullas and Henriettas at 20 cents a yard, 42 inches wide, and 40 pieces of 52 inch spring weight Flannel Suitings at 48 cents. French Broadcloth at one dollar and an expansive silk department round out the offerings. Prices are advertised as unusually low with a satisfaction guarantee and a return option.
We present the greatest values in our linen department on Monday through Wednesday this week. Large purchases produced bargains that will surprise you. We are also determined to unload a large quantity of linens during the next three days.

Ninety four horses perished and extensive stock and contents were destroyed, with losses cited near £500,000. Firemen fought the flames as a water main burst, hindering efforts.
