Two pieces of French all wool Foullas and Henriettas, 42 inches wide, soft and fine, valued at 0 vents, offered at 2 cents a yard. Aiming to trade this week, the vendor invites exchanges and bargaining.
Forty pieces of 52 inch spring weight Phumel Suitings in solid colors, all wool and new shades offered at 49 cents per yard instead of 76 cents. No comparable value has been offered before.

A 19 year old Joseph Hobuuwike murdered his sister, sister in law, and their mother in Masons City after a family feud. He then killed himself. The murderer’s body was found about forty reels from the house. A fourth person who escaped later died, bringing the toll to four. In Wayne Ind a large fire destroyed a four story brick block on Calhoun street, cracker factory Lenis Yex & Co and adjoining properties. Losses exceed 100000 with nothing saved from either building.
