One man arrested after bootlegger gang catch near Red River
Sherman Texas Sept 15 Deputy Sheriff T G Bell surprised a bootlegger gang as they climbed out on the Texas bank of Red River after swimming across the river with eight gallons of corn whisky. One man was captured while two escaped wounded, Bell disarmed one, and fired at the others as they swam back.
