Petitioners Seek City Government Change to Aldermanic Form
Mayor Russell Summers received a petition Tuesday urging an election to switch from the current commission city manager setup to an aldermanic system. The Citizens For Progress Committee cites 56 qualified voters signatures and outlines a five council member plus mayor council.
