Eight ears are Rockdale corn noted as very fine while the other prolific variety bears two to five ears per stalk planted about a foot apart. The seed of the prolific variety was sown twelve inches apart. The acre yield will be announced by the Texas Industrial Congress as they are contestants and have won premiums in the past.
