Two Die in Crashes North of Bells After Horse on Highway
Two persons died early Sunday on highway 69 north of Bells when a horse strayed onto the road. A car carrying Mr and Mrs Al Meador of Bonham struck the horse, injuring Mrs Meador who later died. She was 31, formerly of Leonard, with husband a local pharmacist. The second victim, J W Johnson 66 of Tom Bean, died instantly when his car hit the horse and fell down a steep embankment. Johnson had long operated in Tom Bean's mercantile trade.

Pilot Grove Couple Lived On Same Farm Forty-Seven Years
