Horizon Club of the Sherman Council Camp Fire Girls heard Detective Shelby Bowling of the Sherman Police speak on narcotics and addiction. He displayed pills capsules and injections while discussing marijuana LSD and the dangers of drug use. A scarf tying demonstration followed and Regina Bartley won a gift scarf. Bethel WMS Holds Session With Eight Members Present
Bethel WMS met Tuesday night at 7 30 with eight members present. Mrs Bob Cawthon presided at the business meeting. Mrs Weldon Bartley read the Calendar of Prayer and offered prayer for missionaries. Minutes were read by secretary Louise Franklin. Cawthon reported on the annual WMA meeting at Parkside Church in Denison. Attendees included Mrs Cawthon Mrs Franklin Mrs Evans and Mrs Jack England. Pink and Blue shower plans for Mrs Maurice Cate were announced for Monday Oct 27 at 7 at the church.
