Mrs. Onie Ridener of Bells died in a Sherman hospital. Funeral at Earnheart chapel with burial in Sunnyside Cemetery Savoy. Survived by three sons, two daughters, sister, 11 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. William Atwood Clancy III, 12, of Denison died after an accidental hunting death at Lake Crockett. Burial at Earnheart chapel. Survived by parents, siblings, and grandparents.
Mrs. Claude R. Garner 57 died Sunday at 3 p.m. after a long illness. Funeral services were held Tuesday at Earnheart chapel, burial in Oak Hill Cemetery. Born April 11, 1907 in Point Cedar Arkansas, she married Claude Garner August 17, 1922 in Bonham. She was a Baptist. survivors include husband, daughter Lucio Orozco of Odessa, brother John L. Holmes of Idabell, Oklahoma, and two granddaughters.
Funeral services were held Saturday at the First Baptist Church for Mrs. Clarence A. Woodson 60 of Sherman born November 27 1903 in Clinton County Kentucky daughter of C H Taylor and the late Mrs Taylor She died in a Sherman hospital last Thursday Burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery directed by Earnheart She married Clarence A Woodson January 13 1922 in Bonham Survived by husband six sons Orville E Woodson Eugene and Chester E Woodson Kenneth W Woodson Douglas L Woodson and C A Woodson Jr two daughters Nadine McCullough and Lena Daye Renfro three brothers Paul Lowell and Lloyd Taylor and 19 grandchildren
Mrs Beulah Hill 59 of Trenton died Friday night after months of illness. Funeral held Monday at 2 30 pm at First Methodist Church Trenton with Rev Ralph Smith Rev Robert Moore and Rev Leroy Martin officiating. Burial Burns Cemetery Barnhart Funeral Home in charge. Born February 27 1905 Wolfe City daughter of Mr and Mrs W T Nicholson. Married John Hill in October 1934 in Trenton. He died in 1947. She was a member of the local church.

Funeral services for John F. Tree 89 were held at Earnheart chapel Sunday at 2 p.m. Burial followed in Cross Roads cemetery. Tree died Thursday at Masonic Home hospital Arlington after living at the home since 196?. He was born July 31, 1875 in Illinois and was a charter member of Crossroads Presbyterian church. Surviving: two sons J B Tree of Sherman and Dan Tree of Mobile Alabama. two daughters Lucille Trout of Denison and Elsie Haynie of Fredrick Oklahoma. a brother George Tree of Blue Ridge. two sisters Maud Giles of Celina and Mattie Tidwell of Gunter. five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Whitewright Tigers host Leonard in 11-B district opener after a 31-0 win over Anna. The 6-0 Tigers boast 168 points for and 38 against, with standout players Curtis Tillett Joe Hennig and Terry Edwards leading a strong offense and defense.
The Little Rock Home Demonstration Club met Friday afternoon at 2. Mrs. Jim Grider presided. Members updated work sheets and planned turning them in to the County Council. A donation was made to the united fund and the group voted to adopt a patient at Wichita Falls Hospital.

Mr Clarence Martin and Miss Ocie Watson were married Saturday. Tom Holmes editor of the Trenton Tribune had surgery at a Sherman hospital Wednesday of last week. Mr Forrest Ray Jones and Miss Ordis Hicks of the Orangeville community were married Sunday. A barn on the Fletcher Williams farm east of town was destroyed by fire last Thursday night.

Pasadena College in Pasadena California conferred an Honorary Doctor of Letters on Don Hollingsworth on October 13 honoring 34 years of traffic safety work. He gave a traffic safety address and is a traffic safety consultant with the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety based in Washington, D C. He previously led traffic safety efforts in Oklahoma City and served as chief of police there while maintaining his home in Oklahoma City.
L. F. Jacks entered Risser Hospital at Bonham for treatment. Hugh Hunter underwent minor surgery at a Sherman hospital Monday. Miss Lena Mae Gowdy is a patient in Wilson N. Jones Hospital in Sherman.
