Revival Begins October 28 in Whitewright Baptist Church
Evangelist H. R. Holcomb and singer Mr. Babbett will start a revival at the Whitewright Baptist Church on October 28 replacing the former November 14 date. Holcomb arrives from Waco where he is in a revival and will begin on the fourth Sunday in October. The effort seeks broad Christian cooperation to boost town religion and moral life. Clarence Woosley seeks probate for the wills of J. B. Woosley and Elizabeth Woosley, deceased, with an estate valued at 40000 to be divided among children and grandchildren.

Sherman resident Forrest Moore dies after illness
Forrest Moore of Sherman died at his home after several months of illness. He was 51, survived by his wife and two sons. Reared in Van Alstyne where his father long practiced, his funeral was at Van Alstyne Cemetery on Monday.
