Positions Available For Game Wardens Throughout State
AUSTIN The Texas Parks and Wildlife Department seeks applicants for the 22nd Game Warden Training School to begin in February at Texas A and M University College Station. Starting salary 468 monthly after the 60th Legislature, deadline 5 p.m. October 23. Competitive exams in eight cities in November. Applicants age 21-40, high school diploma with some college, 5 ft 8 in min height, 20/40 vision, and strong physical condition. After five months training, commissioned wardens may be stationed anywhere in Texas.
