Man Swallows His False Teeth During Coughing

Accident Near Ely Woman’s Daughter Recovers After Shoot
Ruth Bartley ten year old daughter of Mrs. Wilson Bartley of Ely community northeast of town was accidentally shot by her younger brother last Thursday. The rifle discharged when moved from a door position and the bullet injured her abdomen bladder and intestines. She was taken to Bonham hospital where an operation was performed and she rests well with good recovery prospects.

Funeral services for Mrs. Jesse Linn Houston held in Bells

Motor cycle officer suffers burn in blaze from broken gas line
Sherman Oct 9 County Motorcycle Officer Will Evans had a narrow escape when his motorcycle burst into flames after a broken gas line. He drove into a ditch to avoid a mule on the Denison road and was burned on one hand while trying to stop the flow. The machine was a total wreck.
