Lubbock on Armistice Day celebrates the corner stone laying of the administration building for Texas Technological College. The project, costing about 450000, stands as the first unit on campus and will house administrators and about 1000 pupils at the 1925 opening. An estimated total in excess of 10 million dollars is planned for eight to ten years of construction including a tile building home economics and stock judging pavilion.

Home Damaged by Fire Saturday Night
The Pennington home was damaged by a blaze about 11 o'clock Saturday night. Mr and Mrs Pennington awoke to smoke and escaped with a few clothes. Poison Cider Kills Eight at Elks Home in Bedford

Gainesville November 11. The Big Indian Oil and Development No 1 Davis wildcat near Whitesboro, nine miles NW and a mile east of Callisburg, drew about 5000 watchers as crews worked to tame a bridged hole. Oil discovery near Whitesboro signals high grade prospects
