Laura Hagler 83 died Wednesday in a Sherman hospital after a fall and hip fracture. Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p m in Earnheart chapel with Rev C C Dooley officiating. Burial will be at Caddo Mills. She was born April 1 1877 at Caddo Mills and was a member of the Presbyterian Church. Surviving are two daughters a son six grandchildren nine great grandchildren and a sister.
George Franklin Johnson 74 a retired Whitewright farmer died Tuesday at 2 45 p m in the home of his daughter Mrs Edna Sims Alvarado The funeral is at 2 p m today Survivors include daughter Mrs Margaret Brown another son Vernie Johnson of Sand Springs Okla a step son Sgt A D Tillery Fort Hood a step daughter Mrs Marie Russell Houston a brother J W Johnson and a sister Mrs Ida Potts Atoka Okla
Funeral services were held at 2 30 p m on November 2 at the Church of Christ in Grandview for S R Booher 83 of Grandview Texas who died after a five week illness in a Cleburne hospital. Burial followed at Atasca Cemetery. Survivors include his wife five daughters two sons three brothers one sister and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
John Lewis a longtime resident of Whitewright died at his home Monday at 530 pm after a long illness. He was 90 and moved to Whitewright from Bells in 1948. Funeral services were set for 230 pm today at the Negro Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife Annie Lewis two stepdaughters Mrs Willie Jones Whitewright and Mrs Eva Wilburn Wichita Falls and four step-grandchildren.
