Man Charged in Shotgun Slaying at Farmersville
J C Jones Jr., 38, was fatally shot with a 12 gauge shotgun about 7 30 p m Tuesday on the Hugh Feagin farm near Capeville. Leeman Feigin, son of the owner, was charged with murder in a McKinney justice court and held in Collin County jail on a 5000 bond.

Woman Robbed By Negro Near Desert Sunday Afternoon
D L Holley of Desert-Trenton area reports a white woman, Mrs Muriel Coffey of Dallas, was robbed by a negro in her car outside the Holley home Sunday afternoon. The thief grabbed her purse containing $20 cash, a $25 check, and glasses. Police arrested a negro, then released him after another man was blamed. Dallas police also report three youths charged with damaging autos by throwing iron. Holley’s car was damaged near Desert on Oct 14 while returning from the State Fair.
