Bethel Store Robbed Again Near Whitewright
Frank Jones owner of the Bethel Store four miles south of Whitewright reports a second robbery in three weeks Friday at about 9 p m. Three masked men in an automobile forced entry after lighted disruption at the door, took 35 dollars from Jones and a later check for 3 000 was sought. Jones was badly cut and bruised but not fatally injured. Robbers fled. another kidnapping and $175 taken the following night near Trenton. Police active with no arrests by Wednesday.

Case Bill Sent to President After Senate Rejection
Washington The Senate rejected President Truman’s strike draft plan 70 to 13 as Congress sent him a broad antistrike measure. U S Extends Credit Loan To France
