Commencement for Whitewright High School set for 8 p m Tuesday in the gymnasium with 43 seniors receiving diplomas. Rev S L Terry of Denison will address the class. Baccalaureate at Methodist Church Sunday at 11 a m with Rev Joe M Connally preaching. Valedictorian Sarah Belle Gillett and salutatorian Aileen Pennington lead a class with eight members above 90. Class roll lists 43 names and includes Jernigan, Vestal, Donigan, Pennington, and others.

Singing Convention to Meet at Bethel Church
The old Fifth District Singing Convention will meet at Bethel Church Saturday night and Sunday afternoon. J. W. Gordon of Pilot Grove, president, announced the event with Vernie Caraway of Rose Hill as vice president and W. W. Elrod of Canaan as secretary. The group, organized in 1902 by J. H.
